Ensuring Quality and Reliability
Building a tradition of simple, reliable comfort doesn’t happen by accident. It happens by first setting the highest performance standards in the industry… and then putting every system through a grueling testing process. In fact, the testing standards at Bryant far exceed the requirements established by the certifying organizations for the heating and cooling industry. For example, Bryant split systems undergo more than 60 tests and verification procedures in the design phase, and 34 additional tests and checks during production. More than 20 of the production tests are performed on every unit—not just on random samples. No Bryant gas furnace—or its components—can leave the factory without passing a full computerized production run test. Each unit is tested for correct operation and is visually inspected for assembly and appearance before packaging. But laboratory tests are only part of the story. Field trials are also used to test product performance in real-world conditions that can’t be fully duplicated in a lab. The products are installed by real Bryant dealers in real applications, and the information gathered by factory personnel is used to improve product design on a continuing basis.
